Hello, my name is the Church

What comes to your mind when you hear the word 'church'? Most would say that stained glass windows, steeples, sermons, Sunday school, the Bible, choirs, or maybe even images of controversy and scandal flood their mind. But what is the church really? While many are saying, "The church, why bother?" the Bible surprisingly tells us the church is the apple of God's eye. Men and women through history have given their lives for it. It's the Temple of God, the body of Christ, and His bride. And this church is on a mission with an unstoppable force. So listen in as we are re-introduced to the people, purpose, and power of this amazing thing we call the Church.

Now What?

Have you ever shown up at church and it's like everything is going over your head? It's like you get it... but you don't really get it. Or maybe you've been in church your whole life but, if you were honest, you couldn't answer the question, "What is Christianity all about?" A way that a lot of us get messed up in our faith is that we come into the church, but the church has moved on past "the basics" to deeper things... so we never end up getting the elementary truths of the faith. Take Back the Future

What does the future hold for you? What does the future hold for the church & the world? Are the coming days bright or bleak?
The good news is that even though the future may not look all that bright, the future is not set in stone and we have been given a charge and the power to make a difference! From combating abortion & divorce to simply speaking to a co-worker to starting a movement or giving someone a hug, God wants to use you in the small & large things of life to make His Will a reality on earth.
There are many who would create the future for evil. Where are those who will create the future for good? Create a different future. The time is now.
